BEEN AWHILE. SO SORRY. THINGS A-HAPPENIN.

July 1, 2010 - 6:22 pm Comments Off

HELLO everybody! its been FAR too long! New things are happening, heres whats going on:
1. SUMMER TOUR STARTS VERY SOON! Check out our myspace for dates! I’ve been busy with screenprinting and moving into our new place in Seattle, so i may not get any Street Team stuff out until late next week. 2 weeks of this will be the Community Records Tour ‘10 with Stuck Lucky, Fatter Than Albert, and on select dates will be Informant, Matt Wixson, and Brunt Of It!

2. NEW RECORD IS IN THE FINAL STAGES OF PRODUCTION! Expect new free downloads for us and Informant to be available sometime next month, and it looks like the album should follow not too far behind. We are all super pumped on it, make sure to check out Informant’s Myspace.

3. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR DAY is a new thing we are going to be doing for fun. Check out the Facebook page for the day we are doing it, we will post a new date every month. It has nothing to do with religion and will just be a monthly encouragement to do something nice for somebody else. Hope you all decide to check it out, and invite your friends!

4. A BIG WEST COAST TOUR IN THE FALL is being planned. It’s going to be awesome. More information on that later, but we need PLENTY of people helping to promote that one. We really wold love to do a successful West Coast tour. It will be a big deciding factor on how confident we will be in the future of bringing more bands out to our ‘hood, and ANY support we can get would be amazing.

That’s all for now folks! PEACE!

In Wobbly news, we are in the process of building a screen press to screen print our own shirts, patches, and whatever else we can get a design on. This will include free and discounted Wobblies merch! We are accepting your design ideas so please e-mail us if you are artistically inclined.

In our Community Calendar for November, a special benefit show is taking place in Michigan… if you are in the area, please attend! Kenny Plont e-mailed us this information:

This is a benefit concert for the genocide that is currently going on in
Darfur. Darfur is a region in Sudan, Africa.

The purpose is to raise awareness about the genocide & the sudanese government, and to educate people & encourage them to take action on this issue.
The money will go to the organization- Darfur Peace and development
specifically to the sector of it that has been working to build schools and
women shelters in Darfur.

The genocide in Darfur has claimed 400,000 lives and displaced over
2,500,000 people. More than one hundred people continue to die each day;
five thousand die every month.
MUCH LOVE,
Kenny Plont

us, murphys kids, and stuck lucky have all been approved for pandora, which, if you dont know already, is a totally rad website that plays random music picks related to the style of music you are currently listening to. i have found a lot of bands i like today because of this website, so this will be awesome.
