This is a benefit concert for the genocide that is currently going on in
Darfur. Darfur is a region in Sudan, Africa.
The purpose is to raise awareness about the genocide & the sudanese government, and to educate people & encourage them to take action on this issue.
The money will go to the organization- Darfur Peace and development
specifically to the sector of it that has been working to build schools and
women shelters in Darfur.
http://www.darfurpeace.org/
The genocide in Darfur has claimed 400,000 lives and displaced over
2,500,000 people. More than one hundred people continue to die each day;
five thousand die every month.
MUCH LOVE,
Kenny Plont
Lastly we leave you with this depressing news:
LOVE AND PEACE.
